FALLOUT

The effects of the first sin in the Garden of Eden continue to reverberate in our world today. We experience the fallout of broken relationships with creation, with other humans, and with God. Because of sin, God has had to very clearly define what is ok and what is not for his people. The Ten Commandments in Exodus 20 serve to do just that. As we journey through them over the next six weeks, we’ll spend significant time in Commandments 6-10, which address the effects of sin in our relationships with one another. As followers of Jesus – members of God’s family – living in a world beset by the fallout of sin, there are things that we simply shall not do.
