Songs of Our People
Current Sermon Series | September 7 - November 9

Every community has its songs – words and music that speak to just who these people are. God’s people are no different, and many of our deepest truths are found in the ancient songs of Job and Psalms. In this 10-week series, we’ll look for what God has to teach us through biblical poetry, for it truly contains the Songs of our People.

To Be Wise
Next Sermon Series | November 16 - November 30

Wisdom – it seems like a rare quality in our world. We can all point to unwise choices, to foolish actions, but wise ones? They’re much harder to find. Thankfully, our Bibles have an entire genre of literature devoted to the pursuit of wisdom. The books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Songs help us see that wisdom is both attainable and elusive. It’s something you can find now, but it also takes time. Ultimately, wisdom grows out of both knowledge and action, and God’s people are blessed when they choose to live wisely.

Every journey has a starting point. You may not know exactly where the path will lead, but every step begins with purpose. Starting Point is that first step for anyone who’s new to South and wants to learn more about who we are.

This casual, one-hour gathering is a chance to hear our story, our history, our core values, and the heart behind our mission to Seek, Study, and Serve. You’ll also discover ways we can walk with you on your journey of faith. We’ll wrap up with a time for questions and conversation so you can get to know us better in a friendly, welcoming setting.
