To Be Wise
Current Sermon Series | November 16 - November 30
Wisdom – it seems like a rare quality in our world. We can all point to unwise choices, to foolish actions, but wise ones? They’re much harder to find. Thankfully, our Bibles have an entire genre of literature devoted to the pursuit of wisdom. The books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Songs help us see that wisdom is both attainable and elusive. It’s something you can find now, but it also takes time. Ultimately, wisdom grows out of both knowledge and action, and God’s people are blessed when they choose to live wisely.
Angel Breakfast

Celebrate the season at Angel Breakfast, a Christmas experience created for little ones ages 3 to 5 and their families. There will be food, songs, and hands-on crafts on Saturday, December 13th at 10 am. Please remember to RSVP.
Christmas at South
December
We are excited for Christmas this year. Our December teaching series is focused in the book of Revelation. We will have the opportunity to bless our missionaries through the Angel Tree again. We’ll bless those working around Lansing on Christmas Eve through Donut Drop. And, we will gather together at 6pm as a people to reflect on the light the Jesus brings to the world on Christmas Eve. It is going to be a grand Christmas season!
Angel Tree
Now Through January 4
The Christmas trees on the wall in the church lobby is an excellent way to partner together and show generosity to our brothers and sisters across the globe! Paper tags hang on the branches. You can select a tag from the tree in person or you can fill out the digital form here, select from the list, and then donate! When everything is collected, we'll write one big check to each of our missionaries and send their gifts out. Thank you for your generosity!
Sunday Lunch Fellowship

A few Sundays each year, we make our way to Texas Roadhouse after the gathering for some great food and even better company. Whether you’re new or you’ve been around for years, it’s an easy (and delicious) way to connect.
