Asking For a Friend
Current Sermon Series | April 12 - May 31
We’ve all got faith questions, even if we’re sometimes afraid to share them. This spring, our church will be digging into Scripture and into our curiosity. We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired word, and although it isn’t an answer book, it can help us process – and perhaps answer – many of the questions we’re holding. Because there’s a lot we don’t know, and anyway, we’re just asking for a friend.

The MCC is a powerful weekend designed to encourage, equip, and refresh believers from across the state. You’ll experience dynamic teaching, meaningful worship, and practical breakout sessions that strengthen your faith and ministry. It’s a wonderful opportunity to step away from the everyday routine and be renewed alongside other Christ-followers.

Pop Can Drive & Bake Sale
Saturday, April 18 | SLCC Church Lobby | 10am-1pm
Support our Special Needs Ministry by participating in our upcoming Pop Can Drive and Bake Sale. This is a great opportunity to give back while enjoying some homemade treats. Pop cans and bottles will be collected on Saturday from 10am - 1pm at the main entrance to the building.
The bake sale will be hosted by our Wednesday women’s Bible study group, with Joy coordinating the details.
Baked goods can be dropped off on Friday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM in the church kitchen. All items must be clearly labeled “Pop Can Drive.” We also ask that baked goods include labels of what was made, noting if they contain nuts or are gluten-free.
The bake sale will be hosted by our Wednesday women’s Bible study group, with Joy Baade, 517-272-0147, coordinating the details.
Whether you’re baking, donating cans, or stopping by to pick up some treats, every contribution helps make a difference.
