SLCC Missions

South Lansing Christian Church partners with the following missions:

All Nations Christian Ministries - Together with Minister Art Foster, South Lansing Christian Church helped plant All Nations Christian Church in partnership with New Churches of Christ Evangelism and several other area churches. The church is a cross cultural ministry striving to meet the needs within inner-city Lansing.

Christ In Youth - Christ in Youth specializes in connecting young people with Jesus Christ.  It is their vision that one million teenagers will have a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ through CIY during this decade. CIY’s Executive Director is Andy Hansen, a timothy of South Lansing Christian Church.

Christian Missionary Fellowship International - CMFI Missionary Abby Weller works with the children of refugees and asylum seekers who move to Dandenong, an eclectic, densely populated suburb of Melbourne, Australia. In addition to volunteering in a school system with students from over 100 different language groups, Abby leads a vibrant student ministry teaching those same kids about the God who loves in every language.

Great Lakes Christian College - Great Lakes Christian College, an institution of higher education affiliated with Christian Churches/Churches of Christ, seeks to glorify God by preparing students to be servant-leaders in the church and world.

G.O. Ministries - G.O. Ministries challenges people of all ages to see the world from God’s perspective and become personally involved in world missions. Isaias Gabriel leads G.O. Ministries in the DominicanRepublic, and is passionate about the work of nationals who desire to meet the physical and spiritual needs in their communities by becoming Christ to them in word and action. His House Christian FellowshipExecutive Director, Gary Hawes, has two goals in mind for His House Christian Fellowship, located on the campus of Michigan State University. The first is to win as many lost college students to Christ as possible.  The second is to train Christian students for a lifetime of Christian service.   Over the years His House Christian Fellowship has been established on other campuses in Michigan, one in Indiana and several in the Philippines.

Intentional Impact Living - Directed by Dean Trune, Intentional Impact Living exists to bless the 21st century church by providing seminars, coaching, mentoring, resources, and training all focused on helping people deepen their passion for God.

Meredith Hobbs PAIS - Meredith is a missionary in Great Britain who works in the public school system teaching children about Jesus. English schools provide religious education for all students, giving Meredith the opportunity to share her faith in schools and communities alongside the rich and the poor, black and white, Muslim and Sikh.

Pioneer Bible Translators - In the past twenty-five years, Bible translators Martin and Tina Ganong identified an African tribal group who had no written language. They created an alphabet and a primer for this group. They have also been translating the original Hebrew and Greek of the Old and New Testaments while they have been teaching the people to read and write their own language so the group can have the scriptures in their mother tongue.

Rock Lake Christian Assembly - Rock Lake Christian Assembly, directed by Henry Hawver, helps young people to be equipped for Christian leadership in this world. During their time at the camp, young people are surrounded by Christian adults who all have several things in common. One, they are all volunteering their time, talent and resources. Two, they love the Lord Jesus and want others to know and love Him as well. Three, they love kids and enjoy interacting with them.

Urban Action Ministries - This New Mission Systems International mission is led by Habacuc and Liz Diaz-Ramos in Santiago, Chile. They are ministering to the urban youth of Santiago. Read their blog here.
