Great Lakes Christian College’s Women’s Spring Celebration is Friday, April 26 in the Doty Center. We will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the doors will open at 6:00 p.m. The evening will end before 9:00 p.m. We hope you will be able to join us as we celebrate God’s goodness and GLCC!
This year’s program will feature GLCC alumnus, Carrie Long, as our 2019 speaker. Carrie is originally
from Kalkaska, Michigan, and received degrees from Cornerstone University and GLCC. She also
earned her Master’s degree in Elementary Reading Literacy. She met and married her husband,
Sam while at GLCC, who joined the faculty here in 2017 as Associate Professor of Old Testament and
Ministry. Carrie has served Christ faithfully as a Children’s Minister and also as a public school teacher
in Tennessee and now in Grand Ledge. Carrie & Sam have 2 children – Elijah and Sophia.
A delicious buffet meal will begin the evening, and on the program will be our GLCC Choral
Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Esther Hetrick. You will also enjoy testimonies from some of our
students. It’s our joy to share our students with you to encourage and inspire you in your walk with
Registration information – REGISTER HERE
• Tickets are $15 on or before April 12; $20 after April 12
• Either mail in your registration or go online to glcc.edu/event, and register online; it is not
necessary to do both.
• Groups of four or more will be seated together IF the names of each individual and the church
name are included. Seating will be 8 women per table.
• If a woman in your intended group registers on her own, she must register under the same
church name so that your seats are together.
Each year at the Women’s Spring Celebration an offering is received to help fund a special project at
GLCC that directly benefits our students. This year’s goal is $10,000 and will be used to purchase 40
beds and mattresses for Hasty Hall, our men’s dorm. These are greatly needed and it is our hope to
meet this realistic goal! Thank you for sharing this opportunity with your women so that they can
come prepared for this offering.
