Be: The Church God Intended - Our building is filled with people who go to church. But are we a church that goes to people? Truth be told, it is easier to “go to church” than it is to “be the church.” But if we are to become the church that God intended, we need to know – not only that we are called – but who we are called to be. That can be a challenge in this world filled with hundreds of denominations and Christians of every shape, size and creed. So how can we be certain we are the church God intends? By examining the first church – established shortly after Jesus ascension to Heaven – and embracing the principles that made the church a force that the gates of hell could not withstand.
