To Be Continued - Though we often focus on their prophecies of his birth, we sometimes forget that the Old Testament prophets foretold the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, too. Hundreds of years before God put on a body and walked among us, the prophets preached that his body would be battered and broken by the very people He came to save. One might struggle to find the good news among the horrors of Jesus’ last week of life. And yet, even hundreds of years before those events occurred, the prophets were already looking past Jesus’ death to his resurrection. His death was not the end of the story, but neither was His resurrection. Because, in us, He writes, “To Be Continued . . . “
