THE STEADFAST CHURCH - Luke’s account of the early church concludes with the events that lead the Apostle Paul to Rome. Considered to possibly be a legal brief prepared for Paul’s defense before Rome’s Emperor, the waning chapters of Acts teach us how believers should act when they find themselves on the wrong end of the law because of their faith in Christ. And while most of us will not be thrown in prison, or face martyrdom, we can still learn how to live counter-culturally in a way that is winsome to those who do not yet have faith in Christ.
