PASS IT ON PROJECT - The only things in this life that have any real value, any real currency, are those things that can be passed on. The very word, currency, and its root word, current, imply movement. Money in the bank doesn’t really have value until it becomes currency and is exchanged for some good or service. Until it is, it is just digits in a computer. Similarly, potential energy has no real value until it is converted into kinetic energy (energy that is in motion). To put it another way, I can stretch the rubber band between my pointed finger and my other hand, but until I release it and shoot it at my kid brother, it has no real value. The same is true of the blessings we have received in life. Financial, material, familial and certainly spiritual blessings have no real currency, no real value until they are passed along. In this series we will challenge people to pass along the blessings we have received.
