Missional Readiness Inventory
When Mark and Emily flew to Thailand last year and brought three-year-old Nathanael home to Mason, three stories were rewritten; three lives were changed. Their son is too young to comprehend the difference they have made in his life, but it is no exaggeration to say that being adopted changed his entire trajectory. Mark and Emily’s actions represent who we are as a church. South Lansing Christian Church helps people write the next chapter in their faith story. There is nothing more important than that mission. People’s lives depend on it. No matter how badly someone’s story began, when we introduce them to Christ, He writes an entirely new ending.
I need your help. 2016 is going to be a year of reflection and planning as we develop a plan for accomplishing our mission. The first step in that process is for us to take an in-depth look at the health of our church. That’s where you come in.
I need you – and every person at SLCC – to prayerfully and carefully fill out the Missional Readiness Insights questionnaire. (We have included a link with this email. It should take about 20 minutes of your time.)
We are working with Dr. Allan Love from Missional Insights to compile your answers with the rest of the SLCC family’s answers in a way that will help us evaluate our church’s spiritual health. Once we get a clear picture of where we are, we will be working to determine where God wants us to go, and how we plan to get there.
There is nothing more important than helping people write the next chapter in their faith story. But we need your help – starting with the completion of this survey – in order to finish the work that God has planned for us. Thanks for investing the time to complete this valuable assessment tool!
