Children's Activities on Sunday
Nursery and Two-Year
Olds - Infants and two year olds are
cared for during all scheduled services.
Preschool -
Preschool is for children ages three through
pre-kindergarten.
Sunday School
- A great time for more one-on-one learning
experiences. Relationships among children are
deepened at this time. Give Sunday School a try
and see how much your kids are learning each
week. Each age group has it's own class.
Kid Worship -
Held during the adult worship hour for children
kindergarten through fifth grade. Our goal is to
show the kids that God loves their worship. We
also want to bring them to a place where they
want to have a personal relationship with Him.
We experience worship through music, prayer,
offering and communion.
Caraway Street Puppets
- The "kids" on Caraway Street come every other
week during Kid Worship to teach your children
how to love the Lord and help them learn
scripture and Books of the Bible. The"kids" on
the street usually have a problem and the lesson
revolves on how to solve the problem using God's
Word. This dynamic style of teaching has proven
to be very effective for children. The children
are in a large group setting, with an
application time at the end.
On the opposite week, there is
a review from the last Caraway Street lesson.
These weeks are used in small group settings
with age appropriate material. This is a great
time for more hands on teaching. This could
involve a craft, acting out the lesson or doing
a group project. There are many ways of learning
and each child is different. We use different
mediums to accomplish the goal that each child
leaves knowing something more about God.
Sunday Family Worship
- On certain Sundays of the month, children
worship in the adult worship service with their
families. Activity bags are available to check
out at the Welcome Center for K-2nd graders.
These have color pages for your children to work
on during the service.
