At South, we challenge everyone to SEEK God, STUDY His Word, and SERVE God and others. While one can study God on his or her own, we believe the best way to study God is in groups -- to Do life together. That is why small groups are a part of who we are.
We offer multiple types of groups. They are described below. You can follow the links above to see the specific groups that are are available in each type. Most meet every week. Often they share a meal together before diving into a time of prayer and studying God’s word. You won't regret taking the next step and plugging in!
Sermon Based Small Groups
Sermon based small groups meet weekly and discuss Sunday's sermon. We provide a discussion guide for groups to work through each Sunday through the sermon page under the Media tab above. You can get connected to one of these groups by emailing our small group ministry.
Topic Based Small Groups
These small groups meet regularly and discuss books, small group series, and such. They vary in topic from parenting, prayer, to the Bible. You can get connected to one of these groups by emailing our small group ministry.
Men's groups are for men. They cover a variety of topics from bible studies, to dealing with porn addictions. They meet throughout the week here on our campus.
Women's groups are for women. They will go over many topics of study and dive deeper into the scripture from a women's prospective. These groups meet through out the week on campus.
Sometimes called “accountability groups,” individuals in these groups gather to support and encourage one another as they overcome specific challenges that group members face. This includes First Place 4 Health.
"Y" groups are small groups tailored to your need to know "what we believe and why" because "what we believe determines how we live”
